Game On: PR in Sports

As the Lead Conference Coordinator for the 2025 PRSSA Mid-Atlantic District Conference, Game On: PR in Sports,I spearheaded the planning and execution of a regional event focused on the relationship between sports, media, and public relations. Hosted at Temple University, the conference welcomed 80 attendees from 13+ universities across the Mid-Atlantic region and featured 12 guest speakers, including professionals from the Eagles, 76ers, Flyers, Visit Philly, and NRG.

I led a team in developing the event’s theme, securing high-profile speakers, managing sponsorship outreach, and creating a detailed promotional strategy that resulted in a 35% increase in social media engagement during the conference weekend. We organized a panel, a keynote address, eight breakout sessions, and a professional development networking session that connected students with industry professionals for mentorship and career insight. Game On provided a one-of-a-kind opportunity for students to learn and network.
