Disney Junior 15

Capstone Project for Children's Media Certificate

For my certificate capstone, I developed a full-scale public relations campaign for Disney Junior’s 15th anniversary, complete with a concept for a traveling children’s museum exhibit celebrating the milestone. The project included a full brand guide, campaign plan, partnership pitch decks, press materials, sample content, an influencer deck, media lists across multiple cities, and a landing page housing every deliverable. It was a comprehensive exploration of strategic communication, creative development, and real-world campaign structure.

This project demanded a blend of creative, analytical, and technical skills. I moved between writing press releases, designing visual assets, building pitch decks, structuring content calendars, and outlining strategic plans. Navigating these roles taught me how to manage complex workflows and stay disciplined in my time management.

This experience gave me the opportunity to take a concept from ideation to execution through research, design, and strategic communication. I worked on the ability to structure a complex project, adapt when ideas shift, and ensure every choice aligns with purpose, not just aesthetics. Most importantly, the project reinforced how essential meaningful storytelling is across all areas of communication.

Completing this capstone was transformative. It strengthened my strategic thinking, pushed my creativity, and clarified the type of communicator I want to be. I’m proud of the work I produced and the foundation it has set for the future I’m building.
